Pediatric oncology

Childhood cancer can differ from adult-onset cancer in its development, treatment and response to therapy. At Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center, children with cancer are treated by the doctors and nurses from the Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at the VCU Children’s Medical Center. Children from infancy through adolescence receive technologically advanced care from a dedicated multi-disciplinary team of professionals.
