Anyone can make an appointment
Phone toll free (877) 4-MASSEY
Anyone can make an appointment at the VCU Massey Cancer Center. You can make one for yourself or for a family member. Or your physician can make an appointment for you. Please call (804) 828-5116, or toll-free (877) 4-MASSEY, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
If your request for an appointment concerns a clinical trial, please call Megan Pitts at (804) 628-0829.
When you request an appointment, you will be connected to one of our highly skilled care coordinators who will help you become established with the right specialists. These professionals are knowledgeable about the many different forms of cancer we treat as well as related issues. For example, they can help you learn about the clinical trials we offer and put you in touch with support groups and counselors.
Request an appointment online
As an added convenience, you can make an appointment online using our Web-based request form. This is particularly useful if you want to contact us after business hours. A care counselor will process your request promptly and call you with your appointment information the next business day.
Appointment details: help us help you.
If you are calling for a first appointment for yourself or someone else, please review the information on the appointment worksheet before and during your call. Having the facts that you will need handy will help us serve you even more quickly and efficiently.
During the phone conversation, our care coordinator will share details with you about your appointment. Many patients find it helpful to write down the specific “who, what, when and where” of their first visit while speaking with the care coordinator. Use the form on the bottom of the worksheet to record key information.
After making an appointment, some people will think of additional questions. If so, please call us at any time at (804) 828-7999. We want to help.
