BJ’s Wholesale Club celebrates October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month by partnering with VCU Massey Cancer Center. BJ’s invites the community to “think pink” at its “Pink Picnic” and donates a percentage of sales from specially marked “Pink Ribbon” merchandise sold throughout October. This partnership has generated more than $69,000 for breast cancer research at Massey.

Massey is excited to be selected as a beneficiary of BJ’s, along with its vendor partners like P&G, fundraising for NCI-designated cancer research hospitals. The purchase of specially marked "Pink Ribbon" Club merchandise in all BJ’s locations leads to a generous contribution from BJ’s and the BJ’s Charitable Foundation® towards breast cancer research at Massey.

An annual Pink Picnic is also hosted by a local Club to celebrate the work of researchers at Massey and honor survivors who proudly share their stories at this fun luncheon.
