Massey Challenge

On April 13, 2013, more than 40,000 people participated in the 14th Annual Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10k presented by Martin's. The 10k is one of Richmond’s most popular events, featuring lively music, thunderous cheers from spectators and an entertaining dress-up and run contest.

In addition to running or walking in the 10k, more than 3,000 participated in the HDL, Inc. Massey Challenge which provides an opportunity for race participants to run, walk, or volunteer to benefit VCU Massey Cancer Center – the official charitable partner of the event. Massey has been the official charity since 2006. In that time, more than 3 million dollars has been raised to support the fight against cancer right here at Massey.

This year's HDL, Inc. Massey Challenged raised more than $512,000 for cancer research at VCU Massey Cancer Center. THANK YOU to everyone who participated this year!
