Pathobiology of biliary epithelium; biliary cell carcinogenesis and hepatocarcinogenesis; growth regulation and altered patterns of differentiation of bile ductular epithelial cells in chronic liver injury and cholangiocarcinogenesis; molecular pathology of experimental and human biliary cancers; in vitro models of bile ductular epithelial cell function, mitogenesis, morphogenesis and neoplastic transformation
