Advanced Palliative Care Nursing Externship
*The application period for the cohorts listed below is now closed. We will update the page when we are accepting applications for the next session.*
The Advanced Palliative Care Nursing Externship is a free, week-long mentored immersion course with national faculty in an established and well-recognized palliative care program.
Advanced practice registered nurses are part of the solution for access to palliative care in health care reform; however, many A.P.R.N.s have not had clinical training in palliative care. The goal of this project is to educate A.P.R.N.s in how to provide palliative care and bring it to their communities. The externship involves small cohorts of 6 participant learners.
A.P.R.N. Faculty: Constance Dahlin, A.N.P.-B.C., A.C.H.P.N, F.P.C.N., F.A.A.N.; Patrick Coyne M.S.N., A.C.H.P.N., F.A.A.N., F.P.C.N.
