Overview
The Research Histopathology Core Facility provides both standard and specialized histopathology services for members of the Virginia Commonwealth University Massey Cancer Center research community.
Services
- Routine paraffin processing of fixed tissue.
- Decalcification of bone prior to paraffin embedding.
- Cryoprotection and freezing of fresh tissue.
- Sectioning of both frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue.
- Routine and special stains.
- Immunohistochemistry.
