Dedicated support and cooperation
The physicians and faculty at the VCU Massey Cancer Center offer dedicated support and cooperation to our fellow medical professionals. It is our intent to keep communication channels open by apprising referring physicians of their patient’s condition at crucial steps. We will do our best to provide the information and services requested and to return patients to their referring physicians for continued care.
Your patients will be in good hands at Massey. As part of an academic medical center, our doctors meet in multi-disciplinary teams, teach medical students and conduct research. We aim to confirm appointments within 24 hours.
To refer your patients, please call us Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Clinical research contact numbers
Clinical research personnel at the VCU Massey Cancer Center coordinate participation in clinical trials. They
will establish patient eligibility for a particular trial, schedule any
required laboratory tests and medical appointments, and be available as
a key contact for patients and referring physicians throughout the trial.
