Clinical trials

Participant comments and stories

At the VCU Massey Cancer Center, we know that the first decisions and first treatments are the most important in setting the course for managing your disease. More and more patients are finding that enrolling in a clinical trial as part of their initial treatment can make an important difference in their health.

Here is what some of our survivors and cancer experts say.

Tiffanie Chan

“All the doctors and nurses at Massey were so helpful to me and my family — answering our questions and making sure we understood what was happening. My nurse let me call anytime. That type of care was invaluable.”
