Tobacco prevention can have a large impact to reduce cancer diagnosis and improve cancer prognosis. A major focus of the Brunzell laboratory is to identify molecular and neurochemical underpinnings of tobacco use and related illness with the goal of identifying vulnerabilities to tobacco use and novel targets for tobacco cessation.
