My expertise is in the area of cancer communication focusing on patient information needs and decision making. My program of research focuses on 1) Interpersonal communication and decision making in cancer prevention and control, including participation in lifestyle interventions, and 2) Understanding the role of sociocultural factors and disparities in cancer care seeking decisions.
