My research interests are in reporting health service use patterns and conducting health outcomes assessment studies with an emphasis in oncology. My research pursuits focus on secondary health services claims mining (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial claims data) and analysis to quantify the relationships between medical services/prescription use patterns and associated health outcomes using both descriptive and empirical observational study designs. My current funded research focuses on disparities in lung and prostate cancer treatment outcomes in the elderly.
