My research interests focus on treatment outcomes after minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures for obesity, metabolic complications of obesity (type 2 diabetes), NAFLD/NASH, and the impact of weight reduction on long-term cancer risks. In addition, I'm interested in outcomes after minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures for esophageal and gastric diseases, including Barrett's Esophagus and the risk of esophageal cancer.
